Brock Lesnar has always gotten great support from his former colleagues in the WWE, with many of them having attended his previous fights. This was very much the case with UFC 116 as in addition to Paul Heyman being in the champion’s entourage he was cheered on by several former pro-wrestlers including The Rock, who was shown at the end of the PPV hugging Lesnar in the locker room as the champ celebrated. In addition, Heyman is reportedly working on a book about the UFC Champ.
After the fight Ariel Helwani caught up with Jim Ross, Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg and Paul Heyman to get their thoughts on the Shane Carwin fight and the future of Brock Lesnar. All spoke emotionally about how proud of what he had achieved in MMA and how his recovery from his recent health problems.
