Tony Daniel To Continue As Writer-Artist On Batman, No More Grant Morrison

News

DC’s Source blog is confirming that Tony Daniel will remain the writer-artist for the core Batman title come November, as several other books are changing creative teams. Personally I like this news as I’ve enjoyed Tony’s run on Batman, as while I feel the writing has really improved since he started, I will say that the art is great and that he is a natural fit for a Batman title as artist.

So now we’ve got four core titles in the Bat franchise set up. Batman by Tony Daniel, Batman and Robin by Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason, Batman: Dark Knight by David Finch, and Detective Comics by Steve Snyder.

Four Batman titles a month? I wonder if any of them will feature Dick Grayson?
