After The Heroic Age: Uncanny X-Men, we knew that Hope was going to head to Alaska to hunt down her true identity, and she actually found some success.
A little research by Cypher revealed her birth certificate listing her as “Baby Spalding”, and a mother “Louise Spalding” who was killed that night by Purifiers.
When Hope goes to her mothers grave, she meets her grandmother….who is of course completely unaware who she is.
Spending a little time with her, Hope discovers her mother was a firefighter, who also is a Jean Grey looking redhead, who was unmarried and had no interest in being so. Leaving her father still a mystery.
