With the war going on in front of them; Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, and the Protector have to decide what to do and if they should take out Kang as he is here. Before they can decide, however, the team is attacked and taken down in seconds….by the Next Avengers?
Regaining consciousness later they find the old Hulk from earlier in the series. He’s a Banner Hulk, with Banner’s personality in the body, however the kids call him Maestro. They also say that attacking them was a military extraction to get them out of the warzone quickly, quietly, and without incident.
Hulk admits that he was the one who sent Kang to get them under the orders of…a really old Tony Stark.
