As expected, former welterweight champion Antonio Margarito had a boxing license granted to him in Texas earlier today. This means that the proposed fight between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito will go on as planned. The plan remains to host the fight at Cowboys Stadium on November 13.
Margarito had his boxing license revoked and was suspended for one year when he was caught with “plaster-like” substances in his hand wraps prior to his January 2009 fight with Shane Mosley.
