It was on, then it was off, now it’s back on. Amir Khan (23-1, 17 KOs) will defend his WBA light welterweight title against Marcos Maidana (29-1, 27 KOs) on December 11 in Las Vegas. The fight will be held at Mandalay Bay and will be broadcast by HBO. There is a possibility that James Kirkland could appear on the undercard.
Khan-Maidana is a great fight. Unfortunately, Showtime is also showing a pair of great fights that same night with their Bantamweight tournament. Once again, fight fans are forced to choose between HBO and Showtime on the same night.
