MLB News: Minnesota Twins OF Michael Cuddyer Needs Surgery On Knee

Cuddyer was a versatile player for the Twins this season.

Michael Cuddyer announced that his knee had been bothering him all season, and as a result would be undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee this offseason.

Cuddyer his .271 with 14 HRs (his lowest full season total since 2005) and 81 RBIs. He also played all over the field for the Twins this year starting at first base when Justin Morneau was injured, but also started in Center to give Denard Span a day off, he also started a game at second base and 14 games at third base.

Cuddyer should be fine for the start of spring training next year.
