Notes on Attendance for WWE Live Events

News

WWE live events have been hurt a lot of late by running against competing sporting events in cities. For years this wasn’t the case, as WWE assumed, correctly at the time, that their loyal fans would show up no matter what else was going on. This change was brought to a head by the 10/3 American Airlines Arena in Texas, the Hell in a Cell PPV. This show did a terrible 7,500 competing with the Texas State Fair and Texas vs. Oklahoma football game.
