20th Century Fox has announced that Machete starring Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Robert De Niro, Don Johnson, Jeff Fahey and Lindsay Lohan will make its arrival to DVD and Blu-ray on January 4, 2011.
Full specs are unknown for the out-for-revenge movie, but the Blu-ray will include “killer deleted scenes that deliver more guns, more girls and more Machete action!”
The titular character, Machete (Trejo), is an ass-kicking ex-Federale who is set up, double-crossed and left for dead. Now he’s laying waste to anything that gets in his path. As he takes on hit men, vigilantes and a ruthless drug cartel, bullets fly, blades clash and the body count rises. Any way you slice it, vengeance has a new name–Machete.
Machete will arrive as a 2-Disc Blu-ray with Digital Copy (SRP: $49.99) and 1-Disc DVD (SRP: $43.48).
