Mark Hominick In Line For Featherweight Title Shot At Toronto

News

UFC President Dana White today confirmed that should Mark Hominick defeat George Roop at UFC Fight for the Troops 2 he will earn a shout at World Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo. Even better for the Canadian it would come at the UFC’s biggest ever show in his country with the title fight slotted to be the co-main event of the organization’s Toronto debut, UFC 129. Of course all these plans will be derailed if Roop pulls out off the upset. If he does then as White put it they would be “back to the drawing board” in terms of identifying a challenger at 145Ibs.
