The Jets announced a bunch of cuts yesterday. Notably absent from the list is LT LDT who will return to the team next(ish) year for the final season of his contract. Tomlinson is slated to earn $2.4 million next season as a third-down specialist while the Jets other two running backs are slated to earn under $1 million.
As much as I dislike Tomlinson for stealing the real LT’s nickname, maybe he deserves another chance to keep his playoff legacy from being sitting on the bench with his helmet on or getting stuffed at the goal line in the worst series of playcalling in AFC Championship Game history.
