News

As expected Chael Sonnen was given a relatively light non-custodial sentence as part of his plea bargain over charges of money laundering with the U.S. District Court in Portland, Ore today sentencing the former world title challenger totoday to two years’ probation and a $10,000 fine. There is no word yet whether the UFC is satisifed that this ruling puts Sonnen’s recent problems behind him to the extent that theywould be willing to book him in another match.
