UFC on Versus 6: Aaron Rosa to Battle Fabio Maldonado

Light heavyweights Aaron Rosa and Fabio Maldonado will compete head-to-head at UFC on Versus 6: Cruz vs. Johnson.

Maldonado is coming off a loss to Kyle Kingsbury in The Ultimate Fighter 13’s “Fight of the Night,” snapping his 11-fight unbeaten streak.

Rosa was TKO’d in his UFC debut by Joey Beltran at UFC 131.

The main event of the evening features a UFC Bantamweight title defenseThe main event of the card, set to be shown live on Versus, will feature bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz defending his title against Demetrious Johnson.

Maldonado (18-4) is 1-1 in the UFC, having defeated James McSweeney before falling to Kyle Kingsbury in a Fight of the Night at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale. The loss snapped an 11-fight win streak by the Brazilian.
