So You Think You Can Dance Canada Cancelled

News

It is being reported that So You Think You Can Dance Canada has been cancelled.

“I can confirm that So You Think You Can Dance Canada has not been renewed for a fifth season,” said Scott Henderson, vice-president, communications, Bell Media to Toronto.com.

This season, the show averaged about 1 million viewers per episode.

The news comes as a major shock on the heels of Sunday’s finale where Jordan Clark was announced as the winner. The series is also the network’s second American spin-off cancellation as Canadian Idol was eliminated in 2008.

The news must be especially shocking for this season’s injured contestants Adam and Moses who were told they could advance next season which now won’t happen.
