At the CBC upfront presentation in June, I had the pleasure of interviewing the cast of Dragons’ Den about the new season and the addition of Bruce Croxon formerly of LavaLife. The show is similar to ABC’s Shark Tank and in our discussion, we talked about their similarities. I also asked the trio about the addition of Bruce and what he was bringing to the table. We talked about the relation of the show to ABC’s Shark Tank, how they can manage to keep a straight face when faced with absurd pitches and whether they can be as harsh as Kevin O’Leary is when shooting something down.
The show itself looks particularly intriguing this year as it will feature “All-Student” and “Second Chance” episodes this season.
