DC Comics has released its official October DC Comics Relaunch checklist for the New 52. The problem is that DC’s actually has 57 issues set in the new DC Universe.
DC omitted five new mini-series:
Legion: Secret Origin #1 by Paul Levitz and Chris Batista.
Huntress #1 by Paul Levitz and Marcus To. (October 5)
My Greatest Adventure #1 by Aaron Lopresti, Kevin Maguire, Matt Kindt, Matt Ryan, and Scott Kolins. (October 12)
Penguin: Pain and Prejudice #1 by Gregg Hurwitz and Szymon Kudranski. (October 5)
Shade #1 by James Robinson and Cully Hamner. (October 12)
Shouldn’t DC Comics ALSO be hyping these mini-series? Why ignore five pretty intriguing mini-series and creative teams? I get that 52 is DC’s magic number, but why stick to it at the expense of its limited series? Odd.
