Brock Lesnar To Bring The Pain In THQ’s WWE ’12

News

Brock Lesnar is returning to WWE in the form of a video game.

As reported earlier, we aren’t likely to see Lesnar as a WWE in-ring competitor any time in the near future. But his name and likeness will be used in THQ’s new video game series WWE ’12.

While Brock Lesnar may have been “The Next Big Thing” when he made his arrival to WWE in 2002, in no way is he the “figurehead” of WWE ’12. That honor goes to The Rock, who recently got more fan votes than John Cena to have his own “People’s Edition” collector’s release.

THQ has unveiled the promo package of the former WWE and UFC champion. Does he still bring the pain?

WWE ’12 replaces THQ’s previous flagship series SmackDown Vs. Raw. It will now be a yearly installment a la the Madden NFL football franchise.

WWE ’12 arrives to PlayStation 3, X-Box 360 and Wii gaming platforms on November 22, 2011.
