June Raphael has secured a recurring role on FOX’s New Girl.
The actress will play Sadie, Jess’ (Zooey Deschanel) smart lesbian friend who works as an OB/GYN and is an archery whiz. When Nick asks for some off the record medical help, Sadie sends him off with some pain pills that may or may not be traditionally used to treat menstrual cramps.
In addition, in a FOX press release, the November 1 episode of the show says:
Jess (Zoey Deschanel) laughs when she accidentally walks in on a naked Nick (Jake Johnson), sending his self-confidence to an all-time low – just after an attractive co-worker (guest star Lake Bell) agrees to go out on a date with him. Meanwhile, Winston (Lamorne Morris) becomes obsessed with learning pop-culture references online.
