CSI has locked in The X Files‘ Annabeth Gish to play Laura, a friend of Catherine’s. When the two resume their friendship after 20 years, Catherine discovers a ‘terror’ in her former bestie and this may or may not be linked to Marg Helgenberger’s imminent departure from the show. Gish’s three episodes won’t air consecutively.
