Melanie Lynskey, who has a recurring role on CBS’ top-rated comedy, Two and a Half Men, will appearing in an episode of House in early ’12.
However, she won’t be one of the so-called Patients of the Week.
According to TVLine, Lynskey will guest star as “the wife of a convalescent.” As a twist, instead of the episode revolving around the patient, sources tell TVLine that the plot will be about the spouse exclusively.
Lynskey’s episode will be this season’s ninth and will air sometime in January.
