Official Synopsis For Upcoming Best WWE PPV Matches Of 2011 On DVD & BD

Disc Announcements, News

Although WWE still has two PPVs left to go in this calendar year, the sports entertainment giant is already prepping its last major release of 2011, Best Pay Per View Matches of 2011, which will arrive to DVD and Blu-ray two days after Christmas (Dec. 27).

Once again, it appears that World Wrestling Entertainment is missing a golden opportunity to have it drop in mid-to-late January, instead of late December to ensure that the entire 2011 PPV calendar will be included in the set. Unless WWE plans for December 18th’s TLC to be a complete stinker and have that be the explanation as to why none of those matches are featured. At the very least, the U.S. will finally get to have the CM Punk/John Cena match from Money in the Bank on Blu-ray.

Thanks to WWEDVDNews, we can now share with you the release’s official synopsis:

“Knowing the eyes of the world are upon them, the goal of every WWE Superstar is to appear on a pay-per-view event, and once there, they desire to steal the show by putting on the best match of the night.

Now, the WWE Universe can enjoy the best PPV matches of 2011 in one home video collection. Whether they are battling for championship gold, personal pride, to settle a grudge or more, the stars of Raw and SmackDown present more than a dozen of the greatest PPV bouts of the year. Matches include bouts from every showcase WWE event in 2011 including WrestleMania XXVII, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Extreme Rules, Money in the Bank, Elimination Chamber, and more!”
