Warrior may have tapped out in theaters, but it will get another round on Blu-ray this December.
In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate says that Warrior starring Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte will arrive to Blu-ray and DVD on Dec. 20.
Disc specs are unknown at this point, but the Blu-ray combo disc release will carry a $39.99 SRP, while the DVD is $29.99. Both releases will include an audio commentary, a “making of” documentary, mixed martial arts strategy, a gag reel, and deleted scene as extras, and the Blu-ray also offers an “Enhanced Viewing Mode” for the feature film.
In Warrior, two brothers are in for the fight of their lives – one fights for family, one fights for country. Directed by Gavin O’Connor (Miracle), this inspirational story is a dramatic and personal look at one family’s interpersonal and economic struggles, with the payout of an MMA tournament seen as the only solution to their problems.
