In an explosive segment at WWE Raw 1000, Paul Heyman answered Triple H’s SummerSlam challenge to Brock Lesnar by proxy for Lesnar. Heyman originally said “No”, but after goading Triple H and mentioning Hunter’s children, Stephanie McMahon came out and insulted Heyman, calling him an abject “failure” throughout his wrestling career in WCW, ECW, and WWE. Heyman changed his answer to Triple H’s challenge to “Yes”, and after insulting their children some more Stephanie jumped on Heyman. This brought out Brock, who attacked Triple H before Hunter recovered to clothesline Lesnar out of the ring.
