CM Punk Rips Into WWE for Not Promoting Two Big Outside Appearances

News, Top Story

CM Punk lashed out at WWE for not promoting two big outside appearances that Punk will be making this week. First, Punk will be the grand marshall of the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Chicago. Second, Punk will be on the very popular Walking Dead recap show “The Talking Dead” on AMC on Sunday night. On that second appearance, Punk wrote: “Shocking how WWE didn’t promote it or get AMC the proper materials in time to announce it.”

He then added, “I will also be the Grand Marshall in the Chicago turkey day parade. Also not announced or promoted by ‘my’ company. Shocking. This is what happens when you go over everyone’s head to hustle and acquire your own outside appearances.”

CB’s Slant: ‘The Walking Dead’ is one of the biggest shows on television at the moment and a Punk appearance on ‘The Talking Dead’ recap show on Sunday night is a pretty big get as it puts the WWE Champion in front of a very dedicated audience. WWE really should have made a big deal out of this one for sure and I’m glad Punk can speak out about it since he’s pretty untouchable at the moment.
