Conflicting reports are popping up all over the MMA hemisphere about UFC 162. More specifically about the status of Anderson Silva. Silva and the UFC directly have stated that the champion isn’t hurt going into the July fight, where he’ll take on Chris Weidman for the middleweight belt.
Luiz Prota is reporting that the champion has broken ribs and that the fight could be in jeopardy depending on the severity of the injury.
Guilherme Cruz of Tatame has a conflicting report, tweeting he had “Just spoke to Anderson Silva’s camp and they guaranteed me he trained today and is 100%, not injured”
