So, “a” Hank Pym is dead. The story then moves back four hours earlier to show readers how the scene on the main cover – an old school looking Avengers group – came to modern era Marvel. It’s all about A.I.M.
Unlike the All-New X-Men, a series were time displaced past selves of the founding X-Men live in modern day Marvel, the All-New Avengers are not from a different time, but a different Earth from Marvel’s multiverse. And the team seems pretty self-aware. However, what is A.I.M. too in their multiverse mining?
We then learn the specific multiverse origin of this Avengers team.
… but they may also be a bit darker than expected? An All-New Dark Avengers series coming making this the eleventh team on top of the ten Avengers teams that exist so far?
We get full circle to “a” Hank Pym’s corpse and S.H.I.E.L.D. surmising that while it may seem like Hank, it may not be Hank. Then the Avengers are brought in as… suspects in that murder?
