Richman’s face looks the part of guy losing this fight so far. Green’s ankle is wobbly right now as Richman starts to win the striking exchanges towards the end of the round. Green did enough to win the round … but Richman is starting to look better as the fight progresses. Green 10-9

Round 3: Richman has to keep this standing if he wants a shot at winning the fight. This fight could be tied, as the first was very close, and he won’t win off his back. Green is looking for the counter as Richman gets baited into charging forward as Green goes for the takedown. Nearly gets the guillotine but pulls out and we’re standing. Richman’s out landing him as Green is looking to set up a takedown attempt but isn’t pulling the trigger. He’s doing a good job at making Richman struggle with finding his range all fight. Not a lot of action as Richman is missing and Green is moving out. 10-9 Richan, 29-28 Green

No objection if it’s the other way, either, as the first was very close. That’ll arguably decide the fight.

Official decision: Des Green wins via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28×2)

Round 3: Not much action until Mo gets the takedown halfway through the round, we’re up against the cage in a fairly boring fight. Zayats out and this is just a sloppy kickboxing affair now. Not much happening as that explosiveness Mo used to have is gone at this point. He’s a shell of what he used to be.
