The day after they were eliminated from The Amazing Race Canada, I had the chance to catch up with Jen & Shawn King to discuss what happened. They described the experience of being forced to remove themselves from the competition after Shawn injured his shoulder in the roadblock surfing challenge. They talked about being the second-oldest team on the show and if that had an impact on their performance. We also conversed about the bittersweet feeling of making the show, only to be eliminated so early. I asked the married couple if they were disappointed about their exit while Rex and Bob moved forward (despite taking two time penalties for failing to complete tasks on the episode). Finally, the pair updated me on what they will be working on next.
