While the series might be named Deadwood, the HBO Western might just be alive.
TVLine caught up with Kim Dickens who played Joanie Stubbs on the series on the Emmy Red Carpet who said that the show’s entire cast remains “heartbroken” about the show ending too soon.
More importantly, however, was what Dickens said after.
When asked about whether she has talked to the show’s creator, David Milch about the series returning either as a movie or perhaps as an online series, Dickens said:
“He needed four seasons and that’s it. He had a perfect wrapping up place. I have spoken to him about it. I think he harbours a hope and he is always open to the possibility.”
