It’s a must-win situation for Frank Mir (14-9) and Antonio Silva (2-3-1) as the pair will square off at UFC 184 on February 28.
The match was confirmed on Wednesday’s episode of UFC Tonight.
Mir, a former UFC heavyweight champion has lost four fights in a row. His most recent defeat came at the hands of Alistair Overeem in February 2013.
Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva is in a similar position. The heavyweight hasn’t been able to secure a win in his last three matches, as he was defeated by both Andrei Arlovski and Cain Velasquez before drawing with Mark Hunt.
