NXT TV Tapings Results for April, May 2015 (Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Finn Balor) [Spoilers]

Check out the results for the next few weeks of NXT TV!

1. The Mechanics (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) beat an enhancement team. Unsure who the losing team was, but they were impressive; particularly the smaller of the two.

April 29 show

NXT Champion Kevin Owens opened the show with a promo. He said that he’s done with Alex Riley and called out Sami Zayn. William Regal comes out instead and reprimands Owens. Sami Zayn came out and Regal announced that at the next Takeover live special on May 20, Zayn will get his rematch against Owens for the NXT Championship. Owens didn’t want to put the belt on the line but Zayn punked out Owens by saying that Owens will always be in his shadow. Zayn threw the “I fight for a prize” line back at Owens. Owens said he knows what Zayn is trying to do and it’s fine. Owens said Zayn may have thought last time was bad, but this time he’s going to regret making the challenge.

1. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady over NXT Tag Team Champions Blake and Murphy in a non-title match.

2. Dana Brooke beat Bayley. Emma came out to Bayley’s music wearing a Bayley shirt, which distracted Bayley and cost her the match.

3. Hideo Itami pinned Adam Rose.

4. Becky Lynch submitted Sarah Dobson (a/k/a “Crazy” Mary Dobson)

5. Sami Zayn defeated Alex Riley by DQ. Kevin Owens was on commentary and ended up attacking Sami Zayn which forced the ref to call for the bell. Afterwards, Owens killed Riley with the apron powerbomb.

May 6 show

1. Charlotte beat Emma. Post-match, Bayley came out and offered Emma a handshake, but wouldn’t let go and planted Emma with the Bayley-to-Belly before Charlotte tried calming her down.

2. Rhyno over Bull Dempsey. Afterwards, Rhyno challenged Baron Corbin to a match at Takeover.

Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady vs. The Mechanics was scheduled, but never took place. Enzo and Cass were laid out backstage by Blake and Murphy beforehand.

William Regal came out to conduct the contract signing for the NXT Women’s Championship match at Takeover between Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. Becky cut a promo about having wanted this for 15 years and doing everything it took to get there. She said she’s not here to take part, she’s here to take over. Sasha signed the contract and then threw it at Becky before attacking her. Sasha stood on top of Becky’s head on the table and posed with the title, but Becky took her down and applied her Nagata armbar. Sasha tapped to the hold.

4. Hideo Itami pinned Tyler Breeze. Finn Bálor was watching from ringside. Breeze attacked Itami after the match and Bálor made the save momentarily, but Breeze ended up getting the better of both guys. Looks like a three-way at Takeover.

May 13 show

1. Bayley defeated Jessie McKay.

2. Baron Corbin over Solomon Crowe. Post-match, Rhyno came out and brawled with Corbin.

3. Sasha Banks beat KC Cassidy. Before the match, Sasha cut a promo on Becky and said that she got lucky last week, but this week she’s going to show why she’s The Boss.

4. Alexa Bliss over Carmella. Blake and Murphy distracted Carmella leading to the loss. Afterwards, they tried to get her to ditch Enzo and Cass before showing the video of the backstage attack from the previous show. Carmella said that Enzo and Cass will be at Takeover and will walk out the NXT Tag Champions. She closed by calling Blake and Murphy sawft.

5. Kalisto pinned Tye Dillinger.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were out for the go-home promo segment to their title match at Takeover. Zayn wanted to know why Owens has done what he has. Zayn suggested maybe it’s because Owens’s son would rather wear a Sami Zayn t-shirt than a Kevin Owens t-shirt. Owens simply walked away. Zayn fired up and questioned how after everything, Owens had nothing to say. Owens said that everything Zayn has to say is irrelevant. He said Sami was hurt when he lost the title, went home hurt, and is still hurt. Owens said that he’s the one who hurt him and at Takeover he’s going to do it again, except this time Zayn won’t come back.

1. Adam Rose and Tyler Breeze over Finn Bálor and Hideo Itami. Because why not send the crowd home happy, right? Errrr…
