New York Comic Con 2016 (NYCC 2016) had sparse big comic book news, but there were interesting news tidbits revealed about some DC Rebirth series particularly Super Sons and Teen Titans.

- Peter J. Tomasi joins Supers Sons as writer, replacing Chris Burns and Dennis Culver. Jorge Jimenez remains the series’ artist. Super Sons #1 hits stands in February 2017. This would explain why Tomasi’s current Superman run feels like a Super Sons prequel.
- Artist Jonboy Meyers has left Teen Titans after two issues citing creative differences as the reason. He is still solicited as the artist for Teen Titans #3, but we’ll see what that changes to soon. Benjamin Percy remains the writer. Teen Titans #1 hits stands on October 26, 2016.
- Despite Damian Wayne / Robin’s Man-bat Goliath showing up at the end of Teen Titans Rebirth #1 he/it is not the sixth mystery member of the Teen Titans team.
- Damian Wayne will struggle as leader of the Teen Titans; Starfire the key for team working well together
- Preview pages from Teen Titans #1 and Superman #10, with the Batman/Robin and Superman/Superboy new arc were released at NYCC 2016! The Teen Titans #1 includes Damian Wayne celebrating his thirteenth birthday while Superman #1o includes Goliath!
