Welcome to What To Look Forward To!
I’ll start off by saying this is a shorter-than-normal article, as I’ve been getting ready for Emerald City ComiCon! Apologies.
New This Week:
America #1 – The star of such hits as A-Force and Young Avengers finally gets her own series, just in time as she takes on her role as the new leader of the Ultimates!
Cosmic Scoundrels #1 – Andy Suriano (Samurai Jack) writes and draws this webcomic turned to print. Who can pass up space hooligans?
James Bond: Black Box #1 – I was a little skeptical how long a Bond comic would last but there seems to be no stopping this train. Good thing too, these are all great books so far.
Royal City #1 – Lemire has a great track record of his writing/art creator-owned works, like Trillium and Sweet Tooth for example. This is one you won’t want to miss.
Rat Queens #1 – Despite the drama surrounding the previous series, this return is definitely one fans have been waiting for! If you’ve missed it, check out the webcomics on Kurtis Wiebe’s Tumblr.
Savage Things #1 – I’ve been hearing nothing but positive buzz about this new title, and I liked Moustafa’s art on Dr. Fate.
Other issues to look forward to:
Green Arrow #18 – Ollie and Roy reunite!
DC Comics Bombshells #23 – Wonder Woman returns!
Superman #18 – New arc!
