Welcome to Image Rundown!

Here’s a quick look at everything Image Comics is releasing this week, with highlights and quick reviews for new series and collected editions as well as good jumping-on points for new readers. Let’s get started!

New Series and Highlights

Hey Kids! Comics #1 – Howard Chaykin presents a new historical (mostly) fiction series based around the comics industry through the decades, through its many changes, and how we got here!

Eternal Empire #10 – Series finale! It all comes to a head as our heroes battle for the fate of Saia against the Empress!

Maestros #7 – Series finale of the fan-favorite! Many are sad to see this go, I’ll be looking forward to the TPB out in November.

Medieval Spawn/Witchblade #4 (of 4) – Don’t miss this extra-sized finale of the battle to end all battles!

Collected Editions and OGNs

VS TPB Vol. 01 – War has become a spectator sport, with managers, sponsors, “player substitutions”, etc. But not everyone is happy just to play along. From Ivan Brandon comes a new take on a distant future, with fantastic art by Esad Ribic.

Outcast TP Vol. 06 – Despite having more allies by his side, things are getting ever worse for Kyle Barnes and his town. Collecting issue #31-36.

Rat Queens TP Vol. 05 Colossal Magic Nothing – A new wizard has been altering the Queens’ memories and timelines, and it’s up to Betty to figure out who it is. Collecting issues #6-10 and Orc Dave Special #1.
