The book opens with a bloodied Wolverine with heated and/or glowing claws that he douses in water seemingly. This glowing or heated adamantium claws will reappear in this series and may hold some new super-powers for Logan.
During his wildly bloody escape from a mysterious prison he becomes unconscious and we meet the big bad of this series Persephone. In Greek mythology that name is used for the daughter of Zeus and Demeter who is the Queen of the Dead / Underworld.
Wolverine doesn’t have too many memories from the past, but he knows he has a healing factor despite a scar on his side not able to heal.
He dons a new costume as…
