Newly returned RAW Superstar was recently asked if there are any dream matches he sees on the WWE roster and he was not shy in naming one man… Brock Lesnar. When Lashley was told the match wasn’t happening, he was even more blunt about his feelings.
“I wasn’t so much bummed, I was more pissed off. Ever since I came into WWE, there’s always been that comparison, and our paths have never crossed. I’m waiting for it to happen. I think so many other people are so also. It’s something that’s going to be electric, it’s something that… needs to happen.”
Given both men’s respective histories in MMA, Lashley was asked if he preferred a fight in a ring or a cage. He said,
“To me, it really doesn’t matter. Either way, that’s a huge fight.”
