WWE Smackdown Live Preview For 10.09.2018: A.J. Styles, Daniel Bryan, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe and More As As Evolution and Crown Jewel Build-Ups and Hype Begins!

WWE has released its preview for this week’s Smackdown Live.

Lynch vs. Flair – SmackDown Women’s Title Rematch (If Becky gets DQ’ed, she loses the title)

SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair’s title match at WWE Super Show-Down did not end without controversy on Saturday when Lynch intentionally got herself disqualified against The Queen in order to hold onto the gold.

Well, that will not be an option for her this Tuesday night when the two rematch in a contest where if The Irish Lass Kicker gets DQ’ed she will lose the title.

Will Lynch be able to keep it clean against The Queen now that she doesn’t have the outlet to escape with the title by resorting to questionable tactics? Or, after Becky got the best of her after the bell at WWE Super Show-Down, will Charlotte’s rage prove to be her achilles heel?

Find out this Tuesday night as this major title rematch with an even bigger stipulation goes down!

Big Show returns to collide with Randy Orton in WWE World Cup Qualifying Match

With the WWE World Cup beginning to come into focus for WWE Crown Jewel, several big Qualifying Matches will begin to take place … some real big.

Yes, Big Show will return to SmackDown LIVE this week to take on Randy Orton on the blue brand.

Will The World’s Largest Athlete be able to shake off any ring rust and defeat the vicious Viper as he tries to advance in this world event at the Saudi Arabia pay-per-view? Or, will The Apex Predator strike first and take down Big Show and advance on in this international event?

Find out this Tuesday night on SmackDown LIVE.

Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe to battle in World Cup Qualifying Match

Jeff Hardy is back and has his eyes set on the WWE World Cup at WWE Crown Jewel … but his Qualifying Match will be anything but a tune-up as he squares off against a none-too-pleased Samoa Joe.

The Charismatic Enigma will be looking to make a declarative statement to the WWE Universe as he competes in his first match since the scary incident that saw him land hard through a table and have to be stretchered out at WWE Hell in a Cell. The Samoan Submission Machine will also be aiming to reset and move forward after his (literally) brutal defeat to AJ Styles in the WWE Title Match at WWE Super Show-Down.

Which Superstar will begin to carve out a new path towards potential WWE World Cup glory? Find out this Tuesday night!

UPDATED:

WWE has released one more segment for Smackdown Live tonight.

WWE Champion AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan to appear on “Miz TV”

Daniel Bryan stunned The Miz on Saturday in Australia, catching The Awesome One off-guard with a small package in minutes to win their highly anticipated SummerSlam rematch and earn a WWE Championship Match against AJ Styles at WWE Crown Jewel.

Though he won’t be competing for the title, The A-Lister is keeping himself close to the WWE Title picture by hosting both Bryan and Styles this Tuesday on “Miz TV.” Will The Miz be out to stir the pot between champion and challenger as their high-stakes showdown draws near?

Also expect hype for the Daniel Bryan vs. A.J. Styles match for the WWE Championship at Crown Jewel too building on WWE’s below announcement.

WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan

In the enchanting city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, dreams really can come true, for the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view on Friday, Nov. 2, will feature WWE Champion AJ Styles in a dream match against Daniel Bryan.

Since his heroic return from a career-ending injury, Daniel Bryan has had two things on his mind: Taking down his long-time adversary, The Miz, and reclaiming his place at the top of the WWE mountain. At WWE Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia, Bryan took a big step toward both goals, overcoming The A-Lister in a hard-fought matchup to earn himself a WWE Championship opportunity.

SmackDown LIVE has truly become The House that AJ Styles Built, as The Phenomenal One has taken on all comers week-in, week-out, to establish himself as one of the premier Superstars in the squared circle today. On that path, Styles and Bryan clashed in a highly-anticipated blue brand main event back in April. However, before a winner could be decided, Shinsuke Nakamura interfered and left the outcome unresolved. Now, the WWE Universe will finally get to see who the better man truly is, in what promises to be a classic contest between two of WWE’s most skilled competitors.

Don’t miss the WWE Championship Match at the King Saud University Stadium on Friday, Nov. 2, when . WWE Crown Jewel streams live on the award-winning WWE Network.

The next two PPVs for WWE are noted below.

(1) Evolution on October 28, 2018.

(2) Crown Jewel on November 2, 2018.

Interesting times ahead.
