JZ Says: WWE Main Event Episode 328 (B-Team, Ascension)

Reviews

Talking Stick Resort Arena – Phoenix, AZ – Thursday, January 31

Byron Saxton, Percy Watson, and Renee Young are on commentary.

~MATCH #1~
The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado) defeat Jinder Mahal & The Singh Brothers (Samir Singh & Sunil Singh) in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. LHP takes an early advantage and they use their excellent teamwork to control the flow of the match, but recent former WWE Champion now wrestling in the opening match on Main Event Jinder Mahal uses his size and strength to turn the tide. The luchadores fight back and Kalisto hits one of the Singh brothers with Salida del Sol. Dorado follows with the shooting star press to get the pin. Harmless little fluff here.

~MATCH #2~
The B-Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) defeat The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor). Both teams have held gold – Axel and Dallas the RAW Tag Team Titles, while Konnor and Viktor were long-reigning NXT Tag Team Champions. They feel each other out in the early going and then we take a commercial break. We come back to the Ascension working Dallas over in their corner, but a hot tag is quickly made. Axel is a house afire, and the B-Team catches Viktor with a double-team back suplex to get the pin. We barely saw any of that match, and is that seriously their finisher?

Absolute nothing matches this week, so if you’ve seen the highlights from the main roster programs, there’s nothing to see here.

I grew up and now I write for Inside Pulse. Oh, and one time I saw a blimp!
