Rasslin’ Roundtable For WWE Elimination Chamber 2019

Columns, Top Story

Tonight is WWE Elimination Chamber, here is the Pulse Wrestling crew’s full preview with predictions!

Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship
Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton vs. Samoa Joe vs. Kofi Kingston

JT: I’m sad to see Mustapha Ali have to drop out of this match due to injury, as I’ve really been enjoying his work recently. Taking that into account, this should be a fun match, with Kofi and Jeff putting their bodies at risk to entertain us, Daniel, Joe and AJ putting on a wrestling clinic and Randy Orton moving exceptionally slowly.
Winner: Daniel Bryan

JZ Says – They just gave Bryan his own custom title belt, I can’t imagine they’ll take it off him now. He’ll be Champion going into WrestleMania for sure.
Winner: Daniel Bryan

Sam – I’ve been enjoying the rotation of main-eventers on Smackdown and I’m looking forward to seeing these guys in the Chamber. I can’t imagine Bryan loses the belt here but we will see the setup for Mania I think.
Winner: Bryan

Widro – This should be a good in ring match, but I do not think they are doing a title change here.
Winner: Bryan

Tag team Elimination Chamber match for the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Nia Jax and Tamina vs. The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan) vs. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville vs. The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) vs. Bayley and Sasha Banks vs. Naomi and Carmella

JT: There are so many people in this match, it’s almost inevitable that it’s going to be a shambles. There are a lot of talented workers involved, with Jax and Tamina by far the most physically dominant duo. As to who will win… is it finally time for Bayley and Sasha Banks to shine?
Winners: Bayley & Sasha Banks

JZ Says – Bayley & Sasha Banks have been the lynchpins of the women’s division and really should be the first Champions.
Winners: Bayley & Sasha Banks

Sam – I’m thinking the women’s chamber match will get more time and more focus from the producers, which will make it even better. These women are going to be motivated and ready to put on a show – I can’t wait. Expect Sasha to do something dangerous.
Winners: bayley and Sasha

Widro – They seemed to build no real teams outside of Bayley and Sasha
Winner: Bayley and Sasha

WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Ruby Riott

JT: If there is anyone in WWE who is going to defeat Ronda Rousey, it seems unlikely to by Ruby Riott. I wouldn’t be too surprised if Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan interfere, but Rowdy Rousey will be walking away with the strap.
Winner: Ronda Rousey

JZ Says – Should be a fun match, but Riott has no shot here.
Winner: Ronda Rousey

Sam – Ronda is going to give Ruby a little bit of shine, but the Wrestlemania main event is pretty much set in stone, let’s be honest. Ronda’s matches are always must watch.
Winner: Ronda

Widro – SQUASH
Winner: Rousey

No Disqualification match
Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin

JT: I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again; f**k Baron Corbin.
Winner: Braun Strowman

JZ Says – Braun SMASH.
Winner: Braun Strowman

Sam – I don’t like Braun and I don’t like Corbin.
Winner: Braun

Widro – Two of the worst workers going ONE ON ONE.
Winner: Strowman

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship
The Miz and Shane McMahon (c) vs. The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso)

JT: Come on, WWE. It’s somewhat unbelievable that a wrestler as risk-averse as The Miz could carry the titles, even more ridiculous when his partner is a middle-aged businessman who wrestles once every couple of years. Still, that McMahon ego must be fed…
Winners: The Usos

JZ Says – With all the hullaballoo on Jimmy and Naomi right now, I’d be shocked to see the Usos get the titles here.
Winners: Shane McMahon & The Miz

Sam – I love the Miz and Shane tag team. I always enjoy Shane and these two have been funny in their segments. I think they will be featured prominently on the Mania card but can’t decide if it’ll be a 1 on 1 match or a tag… probably the former. The Usos can take the belts and Miz and Shane can turn on each other.
Winners jimmy and jey

Widro – Will Shane McMahon turn so red that you will be afraid he will have a stroke??
Winner: Miz & Shane

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Akira Tozawa

JT: Buddy Murphy continues to set the pace for the cruiserweight division. This should be a fun match with a lot of big spots, but I don’t think Buddy’s reign is over yet.
Winner: Buddy Murphy

JZ Says – This match should RULE. Murphy is great, Tozawa is great, I’m stoked. I don’t see Murphy dropping the title until at least WrestleMania, if not later. Why take it off him ever really?
Winner: Buddy Murphy

Sam – Buddy’s reign has been the most consistent in recent WWE history. I love his energy and the matches on 205 Live and PPV have all been enjoyable. He continues through to Mania I think.
Winner: Buddy

Widro – Buddy is a dominant champion.
Winner: Murphy

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Bobby Lashley (c) and Lio Rush vs. Finn Bálor

JT: It must suck to be Finn Balor. One minute you’re challenging Brock Lesnar for the big belt, the next you’re facing a personality-vacuum like Bobby Lashley. In an ideal world, this would be a definitive victory for Balor, setting him up for a victorious challenge against Lesnar, but Vince’s obsession with massively jacked men will most likely prevail.
Winner: Bobby Lashley

JZ Says – I love all things Lio Rush, and him with Finn should be great fun to watch. Lashley is fine. I feel like this feud is going to be drawn out a bit longer, so no title change here.
Winner: Finn Balor

Sam – After Finn lost to Lesnar it would seem logical for him to rebound and win this match handily, right? I expect a slow eleven minute match with lots of chin locks and Lashley grinding Finn down. Probably a schmoz finish just to stick it to fans.
Winner: Finn (By DQ)

Widro – Hard to get excited about a Lashley match in 2019.
Winner: Lashley and Rush
