The sons of Perpetua, the World Forger and Monitor, in the Ant-Matter Universe searching for their brother the Anti-Monitor with the Justice League. Together they hope to defeat Perpetua, but…
…he’s gone and doesn’t want to be found.
On Earth, Apex Lex Luthor brings Martian Manhunter onto his new base of operations that is slightly out of phase with the rest of reality; something his father and his first Legionnaires cabal created.
It’s also where the father Lionel Luthor experimented on a young Martian Manhunter.
Lex Luthor reveals that he’s giving offers across the DC Universe to not “villains” per se, but the most “dangerous”.
He explains that the Evolution is driving force behind his DC’s Year of the Villain plans; the creation of a world of Apex Predators.
We wants Martian Manhunter to join him on this evolutionary mission.
He refuses, and Apex Lex turns him to goo as Hawkgirl joins the fray, but is ineffectual?! Elsewhere the Legion of Doom confront the Justice League in the Anti-Matter Universe so the League flees?!
Starman learns the end of everything is on the horizon as he’s seen the future as…
…Apex Lex Luthor is finally, fully, revealed! He’s a Human-Martian hybrid now.
Intriguing, action-packed and entertaining. The different artists don’t have similar styles so the transitions to and from the Starman scenes were a bit jarring. Can’t wait to see what’s next. 7 out of 10.
