DC Comics Gets Pre-Empted As New Justice Society Of America (JSA) Centric Series Announced, But There’s An Injustice About It All?! Spoilers!
CB seems to have jumped the gun and announced and retracted news on the series writer Tom Taylor has been teasing.
The OG announcement included the following solicitation.
- “‘Fall of the Old Gods’ focuses the action around the Justice League and the discovery of how their predecessors covertly fought within WWII to bring down a tyrant. When the Joker finds a way to control DC’s Super Heroes, he uses his leverage to sabotage the Justice League – and the JSA – from the inside!“
The new digital first twice monthly series will “tell the story of the circumstances that led up to the events of the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game and comic book“. Some reports have indicated part of the series would take plave in the JSA’s Golden Age in the 1940s.
The official DC Comics announcement is expected soon and anticipated to include the first three chapters released at once to kick off this fourteen chapter series at the usual DC price points.
