After Successful Jon Sable Crowdfunding Campaign, Writer-Artist Icon Mike Grell Promises NEW Work In 2021 By Finishing Maggie The Cat and The Pilgrim! (Sans Spoilers)

From the updates from the campaign.

What an amazing finish

What a way to wake up! By the time all was said and done, the campaign crossed $72,000 in support, and 477 backers.

This is the most successful campaign that Mike has launched so far, and he is overwhelmed by your love and support.

We can’t wait to get this book finished and in your hands. The end results are going to really be amazing. This is the way JON SABLE deserves to be seen, and you all will see it first!

What this campaign represented was far more than just one omnibus in a collection of 5. This campaign is the base from which to launch more Mike Grell works in 2021 and beyond. In many ways, the work of the past year and a half (ups and downs) have been aimed at putting us on this path. Now Mike can work on finishing Maggie The Cat, The Pilgrim (with that great team), and developing new Jon Sable material that will surprise you all (and we can’t wait to announce some of what we have in store).

In the meantime, we’ll be taking a few days to catch out breath and enjoy the holidays with family, and hope you all enjoy yours. We will send out surveys in early January, and we’ll announce the winner of the final day’s backers, as well as the prize they won for being one of the final backers!

It will take us some time to get it all together, but we will keep you posted on the progress along the way.

Then look for news on Maggie part 2 and the next installment for The Pilgrim in coming weeks and months, as well as volume 2 of the omnibus collection.

2021 is going to be the year of Mike Grell! Happy to have you all on board.

Release date for the Jon Sable, Freelance Deluxe Hardcover Omnibus has also been revealed as part of the comments on the reveal of Grell’s wraparound cover for the tome.

…Work is in motion, and plans are on target for an end of March [2021] print run and shipping soon thereafter.

Nice.
