NEW YORK UNDER SEIGE!

Wilson Fisk, duly elected Mayor of New York, has broken. Whatever shred of decency that may have been left of him is gone entirely and now, with an army of super villains at his command, THE KINGPIN has set his gaze upon everyone the heroes of the Marvel Universe hold dear — but even the Kingpin is unaware of the magnitude of danger he has put the city, its citizens and even himself with his war against the city’s super heroes!

32 PGS./Rated T+ …$4.99

The Kingpin and Mayor Wilson Fisk’s hold on NYC has tightened with costumed vigilantes outlawed.

Daredevil is lying low, but will be ready when needed.

He visits his friend Foggy Nelson who was beaten last issue; he’s hurt, but on the mend.

Matt Murdock’s brother Mike, posing as him, attempts to visit Foggy, but is confronted by Matt in DD gear; he doesn’t trust Mike which frustrates the brother.

Kingpin wants the Thunderbolts to collect the Purple Man’s children and uses the Purple Man’s powers, via his walking stick, to make USAgent fall in line.

However, he wasn’t the only one with unease about going after children.

The issue also sees many of the super-heroes make a jail break…

…as Kingpin’s son turns on him as well.

The book ends with Kingpin realizing that the Purple Man’s powers have more to offer like unlocking his tinkered with memory…

…so he remembers that Daredevil is Matt Murdock again!

The Pulse:

An action-packed issue with solid art. Very interested in what comes next. Cool that Mike Murdock is back too. 8 out of 10.
