Brock Lesnar Will Defend WWE Heavyweight Championship BEFORE Wrestlemania 38, But Not Against Bobby Lashley?!

Update.

Bobby Lashley has been pulled from the March 5, 2022 MSG WWE Show and Seth Rollins has also been removed as he is no longer advertised to be taking on Roman Reigns.

If that holds it looks like he may need shoulder surgery and be out for around 4 months as has been widely reported.

However, The Toronto show on March 27, 2022 continues to advertise Bobby Lashley.

In addition, it is being reported that Bobby Lashley is trying to get cleared to actually be on both the MSG and Wrestlemania 38 cards.

Anyhow, the updated MSG card is below.

Original Story.

WWE Announces Bobby Lashley Vs. Brock Lesnar For WWE  Title BEFORE Wrestlemania 38?!

During the 2/21/22 Monday Night Raw it was announced that on March 5, 2022 at Madison Square Garden Brock Lesnar will defend his newly won WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Bobby Lashley. If Lashley isn’t cleared, as he appears legit injured, for the match someone of main even caliber would replace him.

It has been widely reported that on Monday Lashley was at Andrew Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Birmingham to get his shoulder examined. WWE seems to be hedging their bets on whether Lashley needs shoulder surgery now, later or at all.

Stay tuned as this story develops.
