Claire’s sisters step up, the long-buried history of the Ghost Gang gets revealed, and the new Crossdraw makes a date with the new Adventureman!
The book opens in the past with the original Crossdraw Kid and Adventureman in battle with ghost and then pivots to modern day to the Ghost Gang on a mission to save someone called the Summoner.
Then we see the modern day Crossdraw Kid flirting with a receptive modern day Adventureman.
They agree to a date, without using those words, and back at his home the original Crossdraw Kid warns his successor that even an Adventureman…
…can be evil as was the case with another incarnation of Adventureman.
He wants a promise that his younger successor will keep Adventureman at a distance that junior says he will.
The book ends with the Ghost Gang protecting the Summoner by killing an old man?!
Looks like the new Crossdraw Kid and Adventureman go on their date in Adventureman #9 scheduled for April 20, 2022 release.
