As Wonder Girl begins to question the Amazons, Yara Flor joins the Contest hoping to reconnect with the memory of her lost mother. Meanwhile, the evils behind Doom’s Doorway grow restless as tensions boil in the world above!

INTERLOCKING MAIN COVERS TO COMMEMORATE THIS BIG MOMENT IN WONDER GIRL HISTORY!

The book includes a lot on the history of the Amazons of Amazon aka Esquecida…

..as well as Yara Flor herself.

Her Amazon Tribe…

…are ready to reunite with their sister Amazons elsewhere and…

…Yara Flor led a delegation of her sisters to Themyscira to meet with Queen Hippolyta before she died.

The most recent Wonder Girl, before Yara Flor, Cassandra Sandsmark investigation in Hippolyta’s murder continues at the request of Nubia Queen of the Amazons.

In addition, end where the previous chapter in this saga ended with the three Amazon tribes, coming together as one, for a new Contest:

  • Amazons of Themyscira (Diana’s tribe)
  • Amazons of Bana-Mighdall (Nubia’s tribe)
  • Amazons of Esquecida (Yara Flor’s tribe)

There champions have been confirmed.

Here’s your Trial of the Amazons Checklist with the final three parts to come in April 2022.

The Pulse:

Another beautifully rendered issue on art – from everyone – that makes the book visually breathtaking. The history of the Esquecida and Yara Flor was intriguing while the Trial of the Amazon parts (very few) felt like an afterthought as the book ends where the last issue of Wonder Woman did. You can tell that this was meant to be the penultimate issue of the previously ongoing Wonder Girl series. An entertaining read, but a mixed bag. 7 out of 10.
