In a historical show-closing angle on WWE Monday Night Raw on Monday night, John Cena came out for a main event promo where he talked about the Miz and losing the title at WWE Wrestlemania 27.
Cena then turned his attention to The Rock, who came out to his music. After going back and forth on the mic, John Cena challenged The Rock to a match, and The Rock made the match for Wrestlemania 28.
This is a shocking but amazing development – the main event for next year’s Wrestlemania is already set. At first the crowd was booing, but Cena and The Rock both milked some crowd cheers by the time they shook hands to end the show.
