Last night’s edition of Smackdown did a 3.3 overnight broadcast rating, with a 5 share according to Nielsen Media Research. That is significantly lower than the show usually does and gives a clear indication that the final rating will be very low as well, which should be out later today since the final number tends to be lower than the overnight. Coming on the heels of an exceptionally low rating for RAW on Monday, and leading into the company’s biggest PPV of the summer, WWE has to be concerned by the number.
