Kota Ibushi hails from the DDT Promotion and will be visiting Ring of Honor for a one week tour. His performance blew away ROH officials during a tag match at last July’s NOAH Budokan Hall event in Tokyo in a Match of The Year Candidate.
Since then ROH officials have been trying to land Ibushi on their shows and finally it was announced that Kota Ibushi would be participating in the April Boston, Edison, Detroit, and Chicago shows. Now earlier this morning in the AM period, it was announced who Ibushi’s dream opponents would be. That list is below.
-4/11, Boston, MA: Ibushi vs. Davey Richards
-4/12, Edison, NJ: Ibushi vs. Austin Aries
-4/18, Detroit, MI: Ibushi & TBA vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe
-4/19, Chicago, IL: Ibushi vs. El Generico
I can’t wait to see Ibushi/Aries in Edison, although I have a feeling Ibushi/Generico might just be a match of the year contender.
