WWEDotCom Delivery – Week of 10.25.2008

Shows, Top Story, Webshows

Let’s take a trip to WWE.com and see what videos surfaced during the past seven days.

OMG Moment of the Week

We go to where ECW was born, Philadelphia, PA.  Paul Heyman mentions how Philly was a hot bed for ECW and wrestling in general.  WWE and NWA would wrestle in the same day.  People from New York and Pittsburgh, among other places would come watch ECW.  That’s it.  Seriously…your OMG Moment of the week was a 60 second clip of Paul Heyman talking about the rise of the Phoenix known as ECW.

History is nice and all, but what I perceive to be a OMG moment is someone doing a death-defying stunt.

Word Up

They are paper chasers, or frost wrist bit boyz.  Shad can’t do the a.k.a’s because of their tit-for-tat words against Miz and Morrison.  This Sunday, they want the WWE Universe to vote for their next match.  No joking.  Shad is pissed off and he’s ready to end it.  The power is in your hands!

So I started to grade the videos and yet I came across a similar pattern.  F. F.  So I took away the grades and decided to keep the rants.  There was nothing wrong, just more of a political ad to vote for their match.  I love Cryme Tyme and hopefully they can end their epic feud with Miz & Morrison, but I’m still pulling for the Tag Title match at Cyber Sunday.

Santino’s Casa

We talk about the WWE Universe holding a protest about not seeing WWE SmackDown in Kentucky due to poor reception.  It could be their way of doing things.  He reminds Kentuckians that he’s on RAW.  Up next, the curse of Santino strikes again with Madonna was fired from Santino for her relationship with Suck-A-Rod.  They had a sex-less relationship, so eh.  We continue our Hillbilly episode with the Honky Donkey Man.  He wants the WWE Universe to vote for Honky.  That’s a wrap!

Easily the best clip so far as Santino continues to prove that he’s getting more entertaining.  Could be eventually become the next Rock in Entertainment? Time will tell.

The Dirt Sheet

John Morrison convinced a jackrabbit to eat a ham on rye.  While the WWE was on a trip to Puerto Rico, Shad Gespar asked for a private photo shoot on the beach.  We see some clips of Shad and a clip of him getting hosed.  Now the Miz is serious, wanting the fans to vote for their match.  John says that he’ll slap the stupid grill off JTG’s face and beat the stink off Shad.  He will kick them to the side of the curb filled with roadkill.  Be Jealous.

Another political related ad trying to get the fans to vote for the epic tag team feud between Miz & Morrison and Cryme Tyme. Better than Word Up this week.

Weekly Top Five

To wrap up the week, Josh Matthews reminds us that Cyber Sunday is hours away.  So here’s the top five for this week!

5. RAW: Rey Mysterio d. Snitsky
4. RAW: Santino dresses up as his opponents and EL KABONGS Hacksaw Jim Duggan
3. ECW: Evan Bourne defeats both Mark Henry and Finlay
2. RAW: Batista goes 3-0 in the Gauntlet, defeating Chris Jericho
1. SmackDown: Undertaker v. Triple H went to a no contest, with Big Show taking out the Undertaker and Triple H and Vladmir Koslov putting the finishing touches to Triple H.

I got to question how Rey Mysterio v. Snitsky even made the top five because that match reeked on all levels.  Then again, I’m most shocked how a very lackluster RAW got three matches in the top five and none of them involved CM Punk & Kofi Kingston v. Miz & John Morrison, which was truly the highlight of RAW.  I also didn’t like the #1 spot going to a match that had angle advancement after angle advancement. Maybe that’s why I’m not employed by the WWE because of common sense.

That’s it for this week’s WWEDotCom Delivery.  Raffi will be back next week.  I’ll still leave my mark all over Pulse Wrestling this weekend, so keep on reading and have a great weekend!
